Connecting-Paris © is a portal for support and information for businesses planning to locate within the Greater Paris.

Born from a joint initiative launched by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris, EPADESA, Defacto and Greater Paris Investment Agency, this website brings together a network of public and private partners which put their expertise at the service of businesses and their employees to help in various stages of their implementation project:  completion of administrative formalities, finding premises, recruiting staff, impatriation of foreign employees, etc..

Serving 380,000 businesses in Paris, Hauts-de-Seine, Seine-Saint-Denis and Val-de-Marne, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris (CCIP) is a public agency managed by 80 elected business leaders from all sectors.
It is involved in many areas touching on economic development and business life.
It mobilises a diverse rante of skills: advisers, experts, teachers … Close to the ground, they constantly anticipate business needs by offering innovative services.
All of CCIP’s activities extend over 4 missions:
- Representing the interests of businesses with government
- Supporting companies at every stage of their development
- Training the employees and future leaders that businesses need
- Developing a sector of excellence in the field of trade shows, conventions and exhibitions

EPADESA

The public authority for the redevelopment of La Defense area (EPADESA) was officially founded on 5 November 2010. It combines the two operations of public interest of La Défense and Seine-Arche which stretch from the Seine to the Seine.
Taking over the former operations of national interest of La Défense and Seine-Arche, EPADESA's scope of action has been expanded in particular to Nanterre, the area around Rathelot barracks, the petit Nanterre business park and Courbevoie. It also comprises part of La Garenne Colombes - Champs Philippes - which is therefore associated with the development project of Europe’s leading business area at the request of the municipality. A total of 564 hectares will be developed under the same State urban planning body in collaboration with the local authorities concerned in agreement with their general plans. EPADESA’s role is to promote the redevelopment, urban renewal, social and economic development and the sustainable development of the area under its responsibility. In addition to conducting rehabilitation and equipment operations, it is also required to purchase or dispose of buildings and land, exercise pre-emption rights and perform studies and the necessary work.

DEFACTO

Designing high quality services requires management, promotion and organization policies for the business district. This is why the Public Management Body of La Défense (EPGD), renamed Defacto, was created in 2007, to conduct upkeep, maintenance, operation and promotional activities in the La Defense public domain. It brings together the Hauts-de-Seine Departmental Council and the cities of Courbevoie and Puteaux. It is backed by an advisory committee made up of representatives of the main local players: the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, owners of buildings and towers, user associations, etc. Their advice and proposals contribute to improving the management of La Defense.

Greater Paris Investment Agency

Business Ambassador of the Greater Paris Area, the Greater Paris Investment Agency founded by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is dedicated since 15 years to the promotion of foreign investments in Greater Paris and to bolster its attractiveness.

It is a non-profit, independent organization, which gathers more than one hundred of French and international most successful and dynamic companies.
